Tutu order... a Christmas gift

One of my dear "customers" had ordered a tutu this past Summer for her niece. When the girl's little sister saw the tutu she asked, "Where's mine?" So... that very special Aunt asked me to make a tutu in the little girl's favorite colors: pink and orange!

Sweet donation!

This tutu is going for a very special cause!!! I'm so excited to donate a tutu set for dear friends of ours that we admire so very much! Our friend Jay is a 3+ year survivor of cancer. He and his wife, Jessica, recently completed a marathon in San Diego!!!! To help support their endeavor they are having a "Trivia Night" so here is the latest tutu that is going to be auctioned to support all their hard work!!!

Fit for a little princess

Goosie's teacher asked if I could do a tutu for her daughter's birthday...
YES!!!!
Her daughter will be 3 next week and I wanted to make sure that everything was extra special.
I hope her Mommy loves it...
I loved making the hat as a surprise for her!
This tutu is pink and green...
The wand is made from a Christmas ornament and a wooden dowel.

Gone tutu long...

I believe I was gone just tutu long...

But, I'm back :)
This tutu set was made for a sweet little girl... her mother works with the MR. and she loves ladybugs. The ladybug tutu is now one of my favorites but the headband... a dress up dream!
It is incredibly difficult these days to find dress up clothes for a Kindergarten aged child and tutus are the perfect way to dream of being a ballerina!
I am beginning to work on Halloween orders. I know that sounds crazy in June... but, I will be featuring a "Harvest Ballerina" tutu in the next few weeks. Goosie has requested, also, a mermaid tutu... so that won't be far behind. If you are interested in a one of a kind tutu for this Halloween or simply for dress up, please feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you ASAP!
AND... to the loyal readers... WELCOME!

dressy donation

Photobucket

Over the weekend, Mr. Rondeau went to Minnesota for work... so... I took the time to complete three tutus for Goosie's school. They have a dress up closet for exploratory time and I had offered to make some tutus for the school. It is my hope that many dreams are created and fun times are had by sending these to school for the little ones to play!I have made the decision to sell tutus such as these. The cost is $25 each plus shipping (I use three layers of tulle). If you are interested, feel free to contact me through this post or email me: hils12ac@yahoo.com. I am currently exploring the idea of working on items for a small show. I would love to customize a tutu for you and your little ballerina!
