Summer gift idea

Summer is a time for weddings, potlucks, parties, and many other celebrations. Here is an idea for a great way to thank a hostess or bride and groom! This gift is for a sweet friend of mine that recently married! I took a drink dispenser and monogrammed their last initial on the front with vinyl. Then, filled the dispenser with paper plates, napkins, cupcake papers and toppers, and items to make smores over their firepit. Congratulations Jenn and Kris! Father's Day Treat

WOW! I can't believe it has been nearly a week since my last post! Things have been so busy at Goosie and Boomer Bowtique with etching glass casserole dishes that I didn't get a chance to update the blog. Today's post is an easy Father's Day treat! I created the label based on things that my husband enjoyed to eat. I recycled a large pretzel rod container and then wrapped it with scrapbook paper. For those looking for a last minute idea, I hope this helps!!! We gave it to the Mr. today since our day tomorrow is packed for of special occasions. He ate the cupcakes right away ;). To wreath or not to wreath??? That is the question!

I couldn't decide if I should make my own yarn wreath like I have made for customers. OR... Go with a canvas... I decided on a canvas. I painted the canvas with an outdoor paint so that it could withstand the elements that Mother Nature feels necessary to impress upon us! Also, to resist fading. It wouldn't be complete without a BIG felt flower on the ribbon for hanging. The ribbon and flower aren't necessary but I wanted to add them.
