A happy accident... that's what I would like to call this post but it is truly about the smores! I had made some chocolate cupcakes in the little nut cups. I wanted them to be super adorable... I had a fail... they flowed out of the nut cups. I believe the key is to fill the nut cups only half full not 3/4 full. Well, looking at the pan of overflowed but well baked cupcakes... the Mr. and I agreed they needed some love. So, we stuck a Hershey's kiss upside down in each of the cupcakes and then sliced a marshmallow in half and placed it on top. Then, we broiled the cupcakes in the oven until the marshmallows were golden and melted. I like to call it a little piece of Heaven! It was a wonderful treat for Father's Day!

I am a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children... yes, I am biased... I can be... they are mine! Oh, and a military wife, too, to an amazing husband! I was a teacher of the severely emotionally disturbed for nearly 10 years before I became a mother and made the decision to stay home. No longer having the classroom as a creative outlet, I turned to photography, cake decorating, and now bow creations. I was frustrated with some of the options available as far as the price of photography (my first love) and so I began taking photographs of my children and a few clients as well. You will see more than bows showcased on this blog and I hope you enjoy the creations and become inspired as well. And, yes, Goosie and Boomer are the nicknames of my two favorite creations!
