There is just one hour of school left... Tuesday morning! I am so happy to have Goosie home for the Summer! Hot, lazy days of Summer are my thing!!! I cannot wait to spoil them both... because Boomer will begin Preschool in the Fall. Where did the time go this year?
Today is the last full day of Kindergarten for my little Goosie. Goosie is a marvelous girl. She reads like a champ, is extremely thoughtful, loves to draw and is down right witty. Today is her class party. I get to join in and do the craft for the class. Class parties are a priveledge for parents... as I see it. We get to have that chance to interact with friends that she is going to have for quite some time. This is the chance to show her that I love being a part of her life. I am lucky. I don't work full time. I think working moms are awesome! I don't get the whole division between stay-at-home moms and working moms. I don't see how one mom can fault the other... it should just be a celebration of being a mom and doing the best you can... if you are at home or you are working! That's how I view it.
Yesterday... I was full of grumbles. I grumbled about everything. I forgot to be thankful. And. Grateful. I am thankful for... beautiful children a patient husband being asked to do things at the last minute because that means someone knows I can deliver a cute new dog a yard with weeds because that means I have a yard and a home to go with it an achy body because that means I am here on Earth to enjoy it all.
I would like to apologize for the neglect this blog has received lately. Hopefully, the family emergencies will cease... I will have more energy... AND the new dog in the house will settle in nicely! It is never dull in Goosie and Boomer land. I just forget to share it sometimes! ;)

I am a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children... yes, I am biased... I can be... they are mine! Oh, and a military wife, too, to an amazing husband! I was a teacher of the severely emotionally disturbed for nearly 10 years before I became a mother and made the decision to stay home. No longer having the classroom as a creative outlet, I turned to photography, cake decorating, and now bow creations. I was frustrated with some of the options available as far as the price of photography (my first love) and so I began taking photographs of my children and a few clients as well. You will see more than bows showcased on this blog and I hope you enjoy the creations and become inspired as well. And, yes, Goosie and Boomer are the nicknames of my two favorite creations!
