We are beginning the transformation of Goosie's room... she wants a fancy Paris themed room. I'm not much for themes but she is so excited. We found some items at an antique/furniture consignment shop (along with many new items) that we are beginning to "refurbish" for her room. This weekend will be painting! Here is a frame that we primed with Krylon gray primer and then Krylon black gloss. It was a very ugly gold before we started (I forgot to take a before picture). Now, we have a desk and chair to do next! And... put the mirror back in the frame ;)

I am a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children... yes, I am biased... I can be... they are mine! Oh, and a military wife, too, to an amazing husband! I was a teacher of the severely emotionally disturbed for nearly 10 years before I became a mother and made the decision to stay home. No longer having the classroom as a creative outlet, I turned to photography, cake decorating, and now bow creations. I was frustrated with some of the options available as far as the price of photography (my first love) and so I began taking photographs of my children and a few clients as well. You will see more than bows showcased on this blog and I hope you enjoy the creations and become inspired as well. And, yes, Goosie and Boomer are the nicknames of my two favorite creations!
