No Take-Out Here... the Mr.'s Chinese cooking

The Mr. has cooked dinner for the past two nights. The first night... YUMMY Calzones (they weren't around long enough for pictures). The second night... He made boneless spareribs and a recipe he created: Korean purses (yes, I know that isn't Chinese!). We added some of my "make ahead freezer meals" which included my homemade egg rolls and fried rice. No need for take out when you have a spare freezer in the garage!
Goosie ate a ton and Boomer... well, we're working on him!

A Yummy Bar Recipe

I have had this recipe in my favorites for about 6 months now and finally decided to make it for us to take on our vacation for a snack.
The recipe is for Cran Crackle Bars. As you will see, it is from the Better Homes and Gardens website. I had made our other granola bar recipe so much that the kids needed a break. Although, this one is not as healthy. I am going to experiment with something other than the Corn Syrup... not something I like for my kids to have... maybe honey instead.
