I have a question for the readers... PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS...

Do you find yourself doing things to be more frugal?
How have you adjusted you budgets to find ways to save money?
Any helpful hints for those wanting to save more and spend less?

Not what I do best... I am better at the other thing - wasting the money...
But one thing that helps a bit is to plan dinners carefully. Make sure you use what's at home and just buy a minimum of complements. Also to make your own bread. :)

On a more complicated level, check your insurances, phones etc to make sure you get the best deals.

This was probably not helpful at all, I am sure you already knew.

Hey I know! Go to Sweden and let your Swedish friends feed you while here. That should save you a lot of money. eh...

I, too, do a menu and then do the shopping. It has drastically reduced our grocery bill. Plus, I take my list and check manufacturer websites to see if they are offering any additional savings.
I was asking because Leo and I had no idea what our heating/cooling bill was going to be this first year in our new home and new state. It was a bit rediculous. We put our TV's on surge supressors and now I shut everything off at the surge suppressor when not in use. Plus, we have taken to unplugging all nonessential appliances... our bill just reduced $70 on our monthly budget plan.
I am thankful to any and all for tips! Thank you, Pernilla! I received a book on bread making for Christmas and I'm about to get all the goods for making more breads at home.
And... I love the idea of coming to Sweden!
